The addition of a Bose Acoustimass 10 Home Theater System which of course has its own speakers wires and a Sony receiver with the option of surround back speakers necessitated some additional speaker wire to use with an older pair of Bose 301 Series III speakers.When it comes to quality in speaker wire I find the subject to be somewhat perplexing. To me, as long as the speaker wire clearly identifies the positive and negative cables and the sound comes from the speakers, its good speaker wire, leaving the quality aspect to the receiver and speakers that it's hooked up to. Obviously, to me, when it comes to purchasing speaker wire, you can do one of two things; spend an extraordinary amount of money or a reasonable amount of money depending on the name of the manufacturer.
